Happy contented within myself. Love my family. I enjoy the quality of friends and don't aspire to quantity; I'm self-motivated, ambitious and independent. I enjoy engaging with people, seeing the bigger picture, the greater good, but I'm not a party boy, more a dinner party type.

I get a thrill from people growing; supporting them as they travel their path, consider one of life's greatest privileges is to give something back.

My favourite "things" are my mum, my children, nature, outdoors, the sea, summer, my Burmese cats, independent free thinking, rain on the roof, random acts of kindness, good manners, chivalry, conversation, wicked humour, good shoes, intelligent movies, connection, high thread-count cotton sheets, integrity, keeping active, a sense of purpose and the occasional glass of a damn good Pinot.

I'm crest-fallen when my favourite DIY tee shirt finally starts to fall apart... :(
